Anabela & Ante

Croatia is a country with more than a thousand islands whose beauty is admired by all who have ever seen them. At times, it seems to me that many are unaware of the value of hiding these land areas in the middle of our Adriatic Sea. Their preserved Mediterranean heritage, pine trees leaning over pristine sikas immersed in the sea, natural pebbly beaches, olive groves and cypresses give off an impression that is hard to forget. While most people from the mainland flee to our glorious islands whenever the opportunity arises and strangers travel half the world to get married on islands such as Brac, Solta, Korcula or Vis, the heroes of my story today grew up in this beauty, falling in love got married on our sunniest island – Hvar. Anabela and Ante were fortunate enough to breathe in the scents of lavender and run the Hvar paths all their lives, and decided to make their vows in their hometown of Jelsa. Island weddings always have some special charm. That we were on the island reminded us of one nice detail. Shortly before the wedding, the church went out of power and we had to wait to continue the ceremony, but this did not get a smile on anyone's face, it even seemed to me that these moments made this wedding even more special.October is a very deceptive month, and its beginning can surprise both the rain and the sun, which is exactly what happened when we started our photo session. Sunny Hvar was bathed in rain that morning, but when we started with the first photos, suddenly, as if we knew we needed it, the sun came up. One of the most picturesque locations in the entire Hvar is certainly the home of our great poet Petar Hektorovic, whose Tvrdalj castle served as a beautiful backdrop for our photographs. The fun continued at the restaurant in Jelsa, where it was toasted with accordion and guitar music, song and drink. Love was fluttering everywhere. And my camera recorded some moments to remember, from Antina's preparations and Annabel's curls under the white veil to the moment they walked toward the altar holding hands and to the first dance. The play of light and shadow emphasized the excitement and happiness that the newlyweds felt that day.Yes, our islands are beautiful, but the people who live on them, fall in love and stay, are also beautiful.

атмосферная приятная серия))
